Dreaming or Not?

Have you ever wondered why you dream one thing and not another? Or why you have those crazy dreams where you feel like your falling and then you jerk yourself awake?

I believe that there’s a couple different types of dreams. One type is to help us deal with what is going on in our lives. The day-to-day stuff. Our families, jobs, stress, that type of thing. Dreams are the brains way to subconsciously work things out.

The other type, and this is the type I wish we knew more about, is using part of the brain that science hasn’t figured out yet. Seeing things in the future, past, astral projection, and maybe even to talk to people on the other side. I know it sounds silly but there’s so many thing we don’t know about how our brain works.

We do know that there our people out there that do things that Science cannot explain. We also know that even our US military had programs that were studying psychic phenomenon to use in war times. For all we know the US military has psychics in its ranks now. I believe in it. I have seen predictions come true. Of course I have seen them fail as well but you can’t always be right.

Sunday…..

Sunday always seems to go so fast no matter what you are doing. I remember as a kid I used to hate them because it meant I had school the next day! Yuck! I would stay up as late as I could on Saturday night just to prolong the weekend as long as I could. It sounds silly now but back then it made sense. When I was in middle school I think I missed more Mondays then anyone else in the school.
My view on Sundays have changed a little now that I’m a NASCAR fan. Its the day of the week I look forward to most of all! Of course now that I’m 29 there’s no school tomorrow so that’s a plus as well!

Not Right Now…….

I have decided to wait on writing about Big E until after the Daytona 500. Earlier I thought it was a great way to start this blog but now I think it would be a horrible idea and I’m glad I changed my mind.

After watching ‘The Day’ and then the Sprint guys having fun, grabbing their beer bottles, I want to remember the good times and the good things that have happened at Daytona over the years.

Not the tragic thing that tore so many people apart and changed the sport forever. I will definitely write about in the next few weeks but not now. Not when Jr. is on the pole for tonight’s Budweiser Shoot-out.

This will be JR’s 2nd Daytona 500 and his Daddy and I are hoping that he’ll in a good mood. He’s been teething something fierce lately so fingers crossed by next week he’ll be better.

Hello World, it’s me, Dizzy!

That’s me and this is MY world! I hope everyone has fun getting to know me. Its going to be a bumpy ride but it’s definitely going to be fun! Most of the time…… Not always though. My world isn’t always smiles and sunshine. I have days where all I want to do is cry. I call them my ‘Eeyore Days’. Thankfully I don’t have them too often!

I’ve signed up for the WordPress Post A Day Challenge so you will be seeing a lot of me and I hope to be seeing a lot of you too. Please comment and let me know what you think or if you have any questions or comments.

I will be posting again tonight regarding the 10 year anniversary of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt’s death and what it means to the fans and the sport it’s self 10 years later.
